configuration wizard will start, go through the installation steps
you
will be asked to place a Netmeeting icon on the desktop |

STEP 1 |
TO OPEN THE WHITEBOARD

METHOD 1:
right-click and
save the file |
|

go to your online classroom right-click the
WhiteBoard button |

right-click on
WhiteBoard |

select
Save Target As |
|
| 07 |
save
the file on your desktop ( or create a new folder and save the file to
it ) |

click
on Save |

after download
is complete, Close the download
panel if one appears |

minimize the online classroom –
do not
close it |

go to
the desktop ( or folder ) and locate the file ( the file is called "
WHITEBOARD " ) |

double-click the file |

Netmeeting will launch – enter your personal details, finish the
initialization |

The
Netmeeting control panel will come up and a blank whiteboard will
appear |
|
|

If no
blank whiteboard appears then do the following: |

on the
Netmeeting panel select
Tools
then select Whiteboard 1-2.0 |
|

close
any error messages
– the
blank whiteboard should remain visible |

at the
top of the blank whiteboard, click on
File |
|
| 18 |
select
Open |
|
| 19 |
Look
in Desktop |
|
| 20 |
locate
the whiteboard file |
|
| 21 |
double-click the file |
|
| 22 |
a new
whiteboard will open, with fresh data in red font |
|
| 23 |
at the
top of the whiteboard click on
View |
|

uncheck Toolbar and
uncheck Status Bar |
|
| 25 |
click
on the Black Arrows at
the bottom right-hand corner of the whiteboard to change pages |

look for the new whiteboard icon in your

save the file |

select the
Desktop Icon and click on

download |

go to the Desktop and

launch |

if you get a file error or a whiteboard error,
click
Ok, the error will disappear |

the new whiteboard, press the Start key on your keyboard, and
look for the new whiteboard icon in your

if you see a blank
whiteboard then do the following |

Ok to get
rid of any error messages |

go to
File at the top of the whiteboard |

select
Open |

open your whiteboard file by
selecting Desktop then double-click on the file |

the new
whiteboard will open and you should see data |

if you dont see
the new whiteboard, press the Start key on your keyboard, and
look for the new whiteboard icon in your

MINIMIZE THE WHITEBOARD |

DISPLAY THE ONLINE CLASSROOM

after you have minimized the
whiteboard, you should see the online classroom |

if you dont see the online
classroom, then find the
Classroom Icon in your task-bar |
press the
Start-key on your keyboard to display the task-bar |

STEP 4 |
RUN THE AUDIO-FILE |
| |
|
|
| 01 |
make
sure that your speakers are connected to the
correct
ports in the back of the computer |
|
| 02 |
make
sure that the power cord of the speakers are plugged in the power socket |
|
| 03 |
make
sure that all your volume settings are turned up: speakers, keyboard,
windows |
|
| 04 |
make
sure that your
audio is not muted anywhere |
|
| 05 |
double-click the green button
Audio |
|
| 06 |
Microsoft Mediaplayer will launch and you will hear audio |
click here if you dont hear audio |
| 07 |
the audio-file is a
streaming file and it will start to play immediately after you click it |

| 08 |
you will see the Windows
MediaPlayer panel |
click here if you dont see the panel |
| 09 |
the MediaPlayer panel is
only used for audio, there is no video content in it |

all the data is displayed in
the whiteboard |
|

if you do not hear audio
immediately, then your player does not stream the file |
a
streaming file start to play immediately while it downloads |

STEP 5 |
MAKE THE SIZE OF THE
MEDIAPLAYER PANEL SMALLER |

in this step we do not mean
that you have to minimize the mediaplayer panel |
|

we need to make the size of
the panel small, so that it will not block the whiteboard |
|
| 03 |
first maximize the
mediaplayer panel |
|
| 04 |
at the top icons, click on
View |
|
| 05 |
then select
Skin Chooser |
|
| 06 |
then select
Revert Skin |
|
| 07 |
then click on
Apply Skin |
|

the MediaPlayer panel will
now be very small |
|

move the panel to the
upper-right corner of the screen so it will not block the whiteboard |

STEP 6 |
DOCK THE MEDIAPLAYER

this is to keep the
mediaplayer panel at the top of the screen |

so that it will not disappear
when you flip the pages in the whiteboard |

Mediaplayer panel |

move the Mediaplayer panel
